The 4th International Symposium on Organofluorine Compounds in Biomedical, Organic Materials and Agriculture Sciences (“Bordeaux Fluorine Days”)
This symposium follows the successful editions held in Perugia, Italy (2001 and 2010) and Valencia, Spain (2012)
All pertinent information regarding this meeting can be found on the webpage
Fluoropolymers are enabling materials that find applications in critical technologies from energy conversion, to microelectronics and photonics, to extreme environment applications to biomaterials. Traditional fluoropolymer technology is nearly 75 years old and it maintains a growth rate above the US GNP. In addition to perfluoropolymers, partially fluorinated polymers will continue to impact a wide range of technologies as better control of their unique optical, electronic, processing, extreme environment stability, and surface properties is achieved.
This will be the 8th biannual FLUOROPOLYMER conference hosted by the ACS Division of Polymer Chemistry. FLUOROPOLYMER 2000, 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008,2010, and 2012 were tremendous successes with a sell-out attendance. For the first time, this will be a Gordon-style event. Poster submissions are highly encouraged!
Full Abstract Deadline: 8 September 2014
